Alchemic Gold -HDR

I remember this photo was so difficult to take, having intended this to be a full HDR photo of at least 11-24 different exposures of the same subject.

Here at the angle in which I took this photo was done without any tripod, mind you we are at 6800 meters altitude and had another 2 1/2 hours of climbing before we reached our full destination at the top of Machu Picchu Mountain. So a camera bag and two big waters was more than enough extra weight.

Now that I have gotten back to my regular workout routine I've more than regained all the muscle I lost while traveling and eating less than substantial enough for my usual physical activity.

This photo was taken at the end of my journey in South America. I believe that I will have even more amazing pictures the next time I go with this new camera I am saving up for.

And with my health strong and body as active as it currently is; I'd love another chance to run (and run.. and stop.. then walk a bit before running again) up the mountain. It was fun.

But this time I would be a beast and want to do all three stops: Machu Picchu pueblo (featured), Huayna Picchu (the sacred site on the mountain top to the left), and Machu Picchu Mountain where I had only enough time to take cell phone photos with, as they were already closing. Not next time! I will make it up that mountain like the locals (maybe not in the purported 45 minutes like one guide boasted to us, but an 1 and 1/2 over 2 1/2 hours as was our last run would be great for me, I don't need to push myself to hard to get this shot. The next journey in itself will have been for it, Im sure it will all feel like dejavu by that point.

Can't wait!
